The Core Facilities Pilot Program (CFPP) at the University of Arizona is designed to advance the capabilities of ORP-managed core facilities by supporting pilot projects that (1) develop new methods or techniques, (2) acquire preliminary data for extramural funding proposals, or (3) provide technical training for students, with priority for training students from traditionally marginalized groups. The program aims to benefit the broader UA research community through dissemination of new methods, increased extramural proposal competitiveness, and enhanced student researcher skills. All funding must be used exclusively within eligible ORP-managed core facilities.
