Description
The Countywide Resilience Implementation Strategy Program (CRISP) is a competitive grant program offered by the New York State Department of State to help counties, regional planning councils, and eligible non-profits develop and implement strategies that enhance resilience to climate-related hazards. The program emphasizes leveraging existing plans, community engagement, and advancing priority projects toward implementation, with a focus on multi-benefit, cross-jurisdictional, and nature-based solutions. Funding supports the creation of a countywide resilience needs assessment, a portfolio of priority projects, and advancement of at least two projects to implementation readiness.
