The CRA Early Career Awards recognize early-career individuals in computing research who have demonstrated the potential for impactful contributions and leadership in their field, with a significant commitment to broadening participation and improving access, opportunities, and experiences for all people in computing research and education. Each year, two honors are awarded: the CRA Anita Borg Early Career Award (for advancing the experience of women in computing) and the CRA Skip Ellis Early Career Award (for increasing participation of marginalized groups in computing). Recipients are selected based on research achievements and service towards diversity, equity, and inclusion in computing research and education.
