The Crop Protection and Pest Management (CPPM) program funds collaborative research, extension, and education projects that address critical pest management issues in U.S. agriculture. The program’s primary goal is to develop and implement innovative Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies to manage insects, nematodes, pathogens, weeds, and other pests at state, regional, and national levels. Projects that address invasive species management or leverage new and emerging technologies are especially encouraged. Outcomes should enhance food security, improve producer profitability, and support sustainable agricultural production.
