    Description

    This grant supports the establishment of up to six interdisciplinary research centres in Sweden dedicated to driving societal transformation to achieve climate goals. The initiative targets collaborative, innovative research that integrates emission reductions, carbon storage, adaptation measures, and the intersection of climate action with competitiveness, preparedness, justice, and democracy. Centres must be jointly planned and operated by academia, industry, the public sector, and civil society, with a strong focus on real-world impact, capacity building, and equity. The research should be internationally competitive, practice-oriented, and contribute to both knowledge development and creative solutions for complex climate challenges.
