--- ## Description This program, administered by the Public Diplomacy section of the Venezuela Affairs Unit, aims to strengthen curriculum development capacity at Venezuelan academic institutions by fostering collaborative partnerships with U.S. higher education institutions or U.S.-based non-profit organizations. The initiative focuses on supporting up to six new curriculum projects at Venezuelan universities using Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) and other online tools, and facilitating sustainable university partnerships between Venezuela and the United States. Key deliverables include: - Online engagement and mentoring sessions covering curriculum development, needs assessment, goal setting, implementation, and evaluation. - Professional networking activities to support new or enhanced academic collaborations. - Curriculum design and mentoring through online support. - An in-person workshop in Colombia for up to 12 Venezuelan academics and administrators and their U.S. counterparts. - Ongoing implementation and assessment support for curriculum projects.
