Grant to create and operationalize a FAIR, interoperable European data repository for security and disaster risk research, enhancing data sharing and reuse.

--- ## Description This call supports the creation and deployment of a fully functional, operational, and sustainable common research data repository for security research and innovation in Europe. Building on the roadmap and technical groundwork set by the LAGO project, the repository will serve researchers, practitioners, industry, and policymakers by enabling access to, management, and reuse of scientifically robust, up-to-date, and realistic data across security domains, including fighting crime and terrorism, infrastructure resilience, border management, and disaster resilience. The repository aims to: - Enhance trustworthiness and reproducibility of research. - Facilitate collaboration and cross-border data exchange. - Maximize the impact of security research through making data FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Re-usable). - Ensure robust technical, legal, and ethical compliance, including privacy and data protection.
