--- ## Description This award honors scientists who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in advancing dental materials research through international cooperation. It celebrates individuals with a distinguished record of leading global research initiatives, fostering innovation, mentoring through international exchange programs, and publishing influential works in partnership with researchers worldwide. The intent is to highlight the importance of cross-border collaboration and interdisciplinary impact in the field of dental materials. --- ## Due Dates - Applications Open: November 10, 2025 - Applications Close: December 31, 2025 --- ## Funding Amount - Award amount: $5,000 USD (one-time prize) - Additional recognition: Award plaque --- ## Eligibility - Must be a current (active) member of both IADR and IADR-DMG for at least three consecutive years at the time of application. - Open to mid-career and senior researchers with at least 10 years of experience since earning their Ph.D. - Must demonstrate leadership in international collaborations with colleagues from different countries or IADR regions/divisions/sections in dental materials. --- ## Application Process Applicants must submit the following materials to the award contact: - Curriculum vitae (CV) - 1–2 page statement demonstrating strong evidence of leadership in international collaborations in dental materials - Two letters of recommendation from researchers who have been international collaborators in projects and publications - One letter of recommendation from an independent researcher who has not been a collaborator --- ## Additional Information - The selection committee evaluates applications based on leadership in initiating and establishing collaborations, impact of collaborative research (including publications and grants), mentorship and capacity building through exchange and training, and promotion of interdisciplinary research. - The award is presented annually; check the program page for updates regarding the recipient and ceremony. --- ## External Links - [Program Page: IADR DMG David C.
