The Deborah Munroe Noonan Memorial Research Fund provides two-year grants to support innovative clinical, service system, and evaluation research projects that aim to improve the quality of life for children and adolescents (birth–23 years) with chronic physical, developmental, behavioral, or emotional disabilities in the Greater Boston area. Funded projects may include pilot studies, research, or evaluation efforts that address health equity, foster community partnerships, and meaningfully engage individuals with lived experience of disability.
The program encourages, but does not require, collaborations between academic institutions and community-based organizations. Priority is given to projects that are community-led, use participatory research approaches, or focus on racial and health equity. Early-stage investigators and community-based organizations are especially encouraged to apply.
