    Description

The Defence Women & Non-Binary People in STEM Undergraduate Scholarships are part of the Elevate: Boosting Diversity in STEM program, a partnership between the Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG) and the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE). The initiative aims to address inequities in Australia's STEM workforce by providing targeted support—financial scholarships, mentoring, skill-building workshops, networking events, and ongoing support—to women and non-binary individuals pursuing undergraduate STEM studies. Recipients also gain professional development and engagement opportunities within the Department of Defence and its STEM-focused areas.
