    Description

This opportunity, funded by the Department of the Army (USAMRAA) through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP), supports advanced translational research projects with the potential to make significant breakthroughs in breast cancer. The Breakthrough Award Level 3 mechanism is designed for research that addresses at least one of the Breast Cancer Research Program (BCRP) overarching challenges and aims to accelerate progress toward ending breast cancer. Projects may include, but are not limited to, advanced translational studies and small-scale clinical trials (e.g., first-in-human, phase 1/1b). The award strongly emphasizes impact, innovation, and the integration of consumer advocate perspectives in the research process.
