    Description

This opportunity from the FY26 Multiple Sclerosis Research Program (MSRP) Investigator-Initiated Research Award (IIRA) supports high-impact, rigorous research projects with the potential to significantly advance Multiple Sclerosis (MS) research, patient care, or quality of life. Projects must address at least one of the program's defined focus areas and may span any research phase except clinical trials. The award offers two tracks: Established Investigator (open to independent investigators at any career stage) and New Investigator (for early-career faculty within 5 years of their first independent position and with limited prior MS funding). The program emphasizes projects with strong preliminary or published data relevant to MS and encourages multidisciplinary collaborations.
