Description
This program, led by Institut français with support from the French Ministry of Culture, is dedicated to elevating contemporary Francophone playwriting on the international stage. It addresses the underrepresentation of Francophone authors and works, especially from Africa, overseas territories, and the Francophone diaspora in France, by providing production support through all phases: research, writing, creation, and distribution. The initiative emphasizes diversity, eco-responsibility, and gender equality, and aims to strengthen financial and technical resources for new productions, champion unpublished texts, and foster international networks for Francophone theater.
