It specifically targets directors, authors, companies, and collectives residing in Africa, French ultra-marine territories, or the diaspora in France. The initiative focuses on works and authors that are often overlooked or rarely performed, with an emphasis on emerging voices and those addressing major contemporary issues such as migration, decolonization, gender, and mental health.
