Description
This opportunity supports research collaborations between U.S. scientists and scientists in developing countries, focusing on plant genome research relevant to agriculture, energy, and the environment. The goal is to foster sustained engagement and global partnerships that address problems of mutual interest, especially those affecting crops and traits important to developing countries. Awards are intended either as supplements to current Plant Genome Research Program (PGRP) grants or as integrated components of new or renewal PGRP proposals. Activities may include joint research projects and reciprocal exchange visits (1–12 months) for investigators and students.
