The Disability in College Composition Travel Awards, offered by the Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC), recognize and support research, teaching, service, and activism at the intersection of disability and composition/rhetoric. The awards are intended to highlight the value of disability as a source of diversity, promote inclusive pedagogical and research practices, and further access and advocacy within the field. Funding is targeted at both graduate students and faculty/staff—especially nontraditional researchers and those with limited institutional resources—whose work critically engages with disability studies in writing, accessible pedagogy, innovative research methods, or community-building and advocacy.
