This opportunity funds a single Model Systems Knowledge Translation Center (MSKTC) under the Disability and Rehabilitation Research Projects (DRRP) Program, administered by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) within the Administration for Community Living (ACL). The MSKTC will collaborate with grantees of the Burn, Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Model Systems to synthesize, translate, disseminate, and promote the use of research findings and information products. The Center will also provide training and technical assistance to Model Systems grantees, serve as a central resource hub, and develop new methods to increase the uptake of research by key stakeholders including people with disabilities, clinicians, caregivers, policymakers, and researchers.
