The Distinguished Awards in Teaching Programme for International Teachers provides mid-to-late career K–12 educators from the United States with the opportunity to undertake research and professional learning experiences abroad. Participants complete individual inquiry projects relevant to educational practices in both the U.S. and their host country, take university courses, and engage in the exchange of educational practices with international colleagues. The program aims to foster professional growth, cross-cultural understanding, and the sharing of innovative teaching methods.
