This award aims to foster diversity within the American Psychology-Law Society by supporting original student research at the intersection of psychology, law, and diversity. Eligible projects may focus on issues such as race, gender, culture, sexual orientation, or other aspects of diversity, or may be led by students from underrepresented groups, including but not limited to racial and ethnic minorities, first-generation college students, LGBTQIA individuals, and students with disabilities. The awards are designed to advance research of significance to underrepresented populations and to further the mission of the BRIDGE Committee in promoting inclusion and representation in the field.
