The Louisville Institute Doctoral Fellowship is a two-year program for Ph.D. and Th.D. students in their first or second year of doctoral study at accredited institutions in the United States or Canada. The fellowship is designed for those discerning a vocation in theological education, broadly defined to include academic study, teaching, ministry, leadership, social justice, public service, and related areas. Fellows receive mentorship, join a peer cohort, and participate in three annual gatherings focused on vocational and professional formation as part of the Vocation of the Theological Educator Initiative (VTE). All approved travel and lodging for gatherings in Louisville, KY, are covered by the Institute.
