Description
The Defense Sciences Office (DSO) at DARPA seeks innovative proposals for basic or applied research that could enable revolutionary advances in science, devices, or systems relevant to national security. This office-wide Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) is open to a wide range of scientific and engineering disciplines, aiming to identify and support high-risk, high-reward research ideas not already covered by ongoing DSO programs or other published solicitations.
Research should be transformative, offering the potential for significant impact rather than incremental improvements. The BAA welcomes concepts across six key technical thrust areas:
