Summary: Supports military-connected local education agencies to improve academic achievement and expand world language programs for PK–12 students.
Key Information: Eligible schools must have ≥10% military-connected students; separate applications required for each program (MCASP or WLARP).
This grant program, administered by the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), provides substantial funding to local education agencies (LEAs) serving military-connected students. The initiative aims to address the unique academic and support needs of highly mobile military-connected students and to enhance world language learning opportunities in public schools. There are two distinct program tracks:
