    Description

This opportunity seeks to add independent, early-career investigators ("Scholars") to the Department of Defense (DoD) Melanoma Research Program (MRP) Melanoma Academy. The Academy is a virtual, multi-institutional network designed to foster collaboration, mentorship, and career development among melanoma researchers. This award supports both the Scholar’s research and career trajectory, emphasizing impactful research in melanoma and sustained professional growth through structured mentorship.

The program is designed for early-career investigators who wish to pursue research in melanoma, with the guidance of a senior Career Guide, and contribute to the advancement of the field. Projects must address at least one of the MRP’s FY25 focus areas: prevention/interception, rare melanomas, or survivorship.
