Description
The Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs’ Office of Assistance Coordination (NEA/AC) invites organizations to submit Statements of Interest (SOI) for foreign assistance programs that benefit select partner countries in the Near East, while advancing U.S. commercial, economic, and security objectives. This annual program statement emphasizes projects that promote trade and U.S. enterprise, leveraging foreign assistance as a tool of statecraft to further U.S. interests and catalyze private capital through market-driven approaches.
Eligible proposals may address sectors such as energy development and exports, trade facilitation, emerging technologies (notably AI and telecommunications), critical infrastructure (aviation, 5G, transport, space), critical minerals, regional economic integration, advanced manufacturing, workforce training aligned with U.S. business needs, and economic recovery in conflict-affected areas. Projects should prioritize measurable benefits both for host countries and U.S. interests, particularly by positioning U.S. businesses as preferred partners and supporting the export of U.S. technology and standards.
