Description
This opportunity funds clinical research or clinical trials focused on transforming dementia care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and Alzheimer’s-related dementias (AD/ADRD), as well as their care partners. The intent is to support impactful, solution-oriented research—excluding animal studies and trials focused exclusively on pharmacological interventions—that advances the quality of life, psychosocial wellness, and long-term care for those affected by AD/ADRD. Projects must be informed by community collaboration and preliminary data, and are encouraged to address health disparities, leverage existing cohorts or datasets, and consider both civilian and military populations.
