    Description

This opportunity, administered by the Department of the Army's USAMRAA, funds clinical research aimed at improving outcomes for people with arthritis, including service members and the broader public. The program supports studies addressing disease-specific factors or interventions, with a focus on generating evidence that can inform clinical care or policy. Applicants must address one of two focus areas: (1) Prevention and Early Diagnosis or (2) Treatment and Mitigation of Disease Progression/Burden. Two funding levels are offered: early-phase/pilot clinical research (Level 1) and full-scale clinical trials (Level 2). Community collaboration is strongly encouraged for Level 1 and required for Level 2.
