This opportunity, offered by the Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) through the Kidney Cancer Research Program (KCRP), supports early-career investigators aiming to establish independent research careers in kidney cancer. The Academy of Kidney Cancer Investigators – Early-Career Scholar Award (AKCI-ECSA) provides intensive mentoring, national networking, and collaboration opportunities in a virtual academy setting. Each Early-Career Scholar (ECS) is paired with a Designated Mentor, with oversight from an experienced leadership team and patient advocates, to advance impactful kidney cancer research and foster the next generation of leaders in the field.
