Description
This opportunity supports innovative, high-risk/high-reward research projects with the potential to make significant advances in lupus research. The program is part of the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) Lupus Research Program (LRP) and targets projects that address at least one of the FY26 LRP Idea Award focus areas. The emphasis is on bold new ideas that could open new avenues in lupus research, rather than incremental advances to existing work. Clinical trials are not permitted under this mechanism.
