The program is part of the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) and aims to fund both small-scale, proof-of-principle trials as well as larger phase 1 or 2 trials. Projects must address one or both of the following focus areas: (1) promoting repair, neuroprotection, and remyelination in MS, or (2) treatment of MS symptoms. Both new and established investigators are encouraged to apply, and multidisciplinary collaborations are welcomed.
