This opportunity funds innovative, high-impact research in prostate cancer through the Idea Development Award mechanism of the FY26 Prostate Cancer Research Program (PCRP). The program is designed to support both established and early-career (new) investigators in developing novel research approaches that could significantly advance the field and address key overarching challenges in prostate cancer. All projects must directly address one of the specified FY26 PCRP Overarching Challenges, such as improving survivorship, developing new treatments for lethal disease, enhancing clinical care (especially for high-risk groups), or defining the biology of lethal progression. Clinical trials are expressly excluded from this mechanism.
