Description
This opportunity provides funding for early-career physicians to pursue mentored research experiences in prostate cancer, with the goal of fostering independent physician-scientists in the field. Applicants must propose research that addresses at least one of the FY26 Prostate Cancer Research Program (PCRP) Overarching Challenges, which include improving survivorship, developing new treatments for lethal prostate cancer, enhancing clinical care (especially for high-risk groups), and defining the biology of disease progression. The award emphasizes both the quality of the research and the career development of the Principal Investigator (PI), requiring a robust mentorship plan and a detailed researcher development strategy.
