The Illinois Public Water Supply Loan Program (PWSLP) provides low-interest loans and related assistance for projects that improve the safety, reliability, and quality of drinking water systems throughout Illinois. Eligible projects include the construction of new drinking water infrastructure, rehabilitation or upgrades of existing systems, and initiatives that protect or enhance the quality of the state’s water resources (rivers, streams, lakes).
