Description
The PhRMA Foundation’s Drug Delivery Faculty Starter Grant supports early-career scientists working in drug delivery. It is part of the Foundation’s effort to help promising researchers advance their careers and remain in the scientific workforce, while building a talent pipeline for future research discoveries. The Foundation’s broader goals include supporting researchers who will work in industry, become academic partners to industry, and train the biopharmaceutical workforce.
The Foundation is restructuring its grant portfolio and resources to stretch funding further and create a more sustainable support system for early-career scientists. Current Faculty Starter Grant awardees are unaffected by this change, and all existing funding commitments will be honored.
