    Description

This program funds early-career faculty beginning independent research careers in drug delivery at accredited U.S. universities. The goal is to support innovative and therapeutically relevant research that optimizes drug composition, dosage, and delivery to enhance clinical viability, safety, efficacy, and patient management. Projects may focus on formulation development, delivery technologies, CMC processes for challenging chemical entities, or predictive modeling approaches that connect drug quality attributes with in vivo performance. Proposals must have a defined therapeutic payload, target tissue, and dosing rationale, with translational validation plans if computational methods are used.
