Description
This fellowship opportunity, offered through the NRC Research Associateship Programs, supports advanced research in dynamic meteorology and related fields at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) in Monterey, CA. The research focus includes theoretical, computational, observational, and experimental studies of severe weather phenomena such as hurricanes, tornadoes, tropical cyclones, explosive cyclogenesis, polar lows, fronts, mesoscale convective vortices, geophysical turbulence, and cyclone/anticyclone asymmetry.
