Description
The West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission’s Division of Science and Research (STaR Division) is requesting non-binding, exploratory white papers to inform the development of a statewide proposal for the National Science Foundation’s EPSCoR Collaborations for Optimizing Research Ecosystems (E-CORE) program. This initiative seeks to gather innovative concepts, compelling problem statements, and evidence-based strategies that address key areas such as research capacity, STEM education and workforce pathways, research administration, and other priorities outlined in the West Virginia State Science and Technology Plan. White papers will help shape a coordinated statewide planning process and may lead to participation in subsequent proposal development, but do not constitute a funding opportunity at this stage.
