Description
This Horizon Europe call, under the EU Cancer Mission, seeks proposals that develop and validate innovative, patient-centred models for earlier, more precise, and better integrated palliative care for cancer patients. The focus is on leveraging digital remote tools, artificial intelligence, and home-based care options to improve communication between carers, empower clinicians with guidelines and real-time decision tools, and address barriers such as workforce allocation, staff retention, and regional inequities.
Projects must validate these models in real-world settings, consider age, sex, and gender differences, and foster collaboration with EU4Health projects. Successful applicants will participate in the EU Cancer Mission’s 'Quality of Life' project cluster, engaging in networking and joint activities to promote best practices and policy actions.
