Description
This fellowship scheme, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) through UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), aims to support early career researchers in gaining research and career experience within the UK's galleries, libraries, archives, and museums (GLAM) and heritage sector. Fellows collaborate with major cultural or heritage host organisations on co-designed research projects that address priority research themes, benefit both the researcher and host, and align with AHRC’s strategic objectives. The programme includes a comprehensive training and development offer, fostering sector-relevant skills, peer networking, and career advancement. Projects are expected to be innovative, interdisciplinary, and inclusive, contributing to research capacity-building within the cultural heritage sector.
