--- ## Description This opportunity, offered by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Counterterrorism, funds a two-year initiative to enhance early-warning, threat detection, and response around U.S. commercial interests in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. The program aims to develop effective channels for information exchange between Mozambican law enforcement and local communities, improve the Police of the Republic of Mozambique’s (PRM) ability to identify and respond to threats, and ultimately reduce risks to American companies and investments in the region. Answers will be posted by May 1, 2026. --- ## Additional Information - **Performance monitoring:** Awardees must submit quarterly reports, including a Performance Indicator Tracking Table (PITT), and comply with all U.S. Department of State reporting requirements. - **Indirect costs:** Organizations with a NICRA may use their negotiated rate; others may claim up to 15% of Modified Total Direct Costs. - **Restrictions:** No funds may be used for alcoholic beverages or to support UNRWA.
