The Eddie C. and C. Sylvia Brown Family Foundation Grant Program, managed by the Baltimore Community Foundation, aims to strengthen charitable organizations in the Baltimore metropolitan area that address critical needs in health, the arts, and K-12 education, with a particular emphasis on direct impact for the African American community. The program funds initiatives that provide direct mental health services and interventions, cancer prevention and treatment through education and screening, meaningful youth arts experiences, and expanded educational opportunities for disadvantaged children and youth. Preference is given to arts and education programs that serve a core group of youth over an extended period and to organizations with a proven track record and clear outcomes.
