Description
This opportunity, administered by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), provides formula funding to states through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program. The purpose is to support a broad range of activities designed to prevent and control crime and improve the criminal justice system. Eligible funds may be used for hiring personnel, purchasing equipment and supplies, obtaining contractual support, providing training and technical assistance, and developing information systems for criminal justice or civil proceedings.
