Description
This grant, under the Horizon Europe framework, funds large-scale projects to develop and deploy secure, interoperable, and scalable data management systems as well as advanced AI-driven compliance and regulatory tools. The goal is to enable seamless cross-sector data integration, automation of key processes, and robust compliance with EU frameworks. Projects should deliver high-quality, structured, secure, and compliant data tailored to the evolving needs of society, industry, research, and the public sector, supporting major EU strategies such as the Data Union Strategy, the Apply AI Strategy, and the creation of Common European Data Spaces.
Applicants should focus on one of two main areas (or both, with one as the primary focus):
- Area 1: Advanced, AI-driven compliance technologies and regulatory tools (e.g., RegTech, GovTech, LegalTech), automating data transactions and regulatory processes, reducing administrative burden, and supporting seamless adherence to EU rules.
- Area 2: Design and deployment of secure, scalable, and adaptive data management systems for automating data curation, metadata tagging, ontology management, quality control, and the generation of high-quality real and synthetic data.
Collaboration with European Partnerships, industry, public administrations, and research organizations is required to ensure practical and competitive solutions that strengthen the EU’s digital sovereignty and leadership.
