The ELATE National Technology Leadership Fellowship Award celebrates exemplary leadership in integrating technology into English language arts teacher education. It recognizes innovative pedagogical approaches that go beyond assigning digital texts, emphasizing research-based, youth-centered digital literacy practices aligned with NCTE’s critical media literacy policies. The award aims to foster cross-institutional dialogue and highlights work that provides tools and mentor texts for teaching diverse digital genres. Recipients are given the opportunity to present at the annual Society for Information Technology in Teacher Education (SITE) international conference, helping to bring vital conversations about digital literacy to the broader teacher education community.
