Description
The Elder Justice Innovation Grants program, administered by the Administration for Community Living (ACL), aims to fund projects that develop, test, and disseminate innovative approaches to elder justice and adult maltreatment prevention and intervention. Projects should address new or emerging issues, contribute to the evidence base, and have potential for replication or broad dissemination. The focus is on improving outcomes for older adults and adults with disabilities who are experiencing or at risk of abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation.
Funded projects may include the development of materials, programs, or interventions; enhancement of interagency collaboration; improvement of data collection and reporting; or strengthening of Adult Protective Services (APS) systems. The overarching goals are to prevent maltreatment, reduce harm, preserve autonomy, and restore well-being for affected individuals.
