Description
This opportunity is part of the Blue Buffers Program, an initiative led by the New York State Housing Trust Fund Corporation and administered by Enterprise Assisted Properties, LLC (EAP), a special purpose entity of Enterprise Community Partners. The program aims to reduce flood risk and restore open space by acquiring and demolishing at-risk properties, then transferring the land to municipalities for environmentally beneficial uses. Selected landscape architecture firms will provide end-use design support, developing conceptual designs for open spaces created from these buyouts, in partnership with municipalities and community stakeholders.
