--- ## Description The Energy, Power, Control and Networks (EPCN) program supported foundational and applied research in the analysis and design of cyber-physical systems, with a focus on stability, performance, robustness, and security. Areas of interest included modeling, optimization, learning, and control of networked multi-agent systems, dynamic resource allocation, risk management under uncertainty, adaptive dynamic programming, neuromorphic engineering, and brain-like architectures. EPCN placed special emphasis on research in electric power systems (generation, transmission, storage, integration of renewables), power electronics, battery systems, electric and hybrid vehicles, and the interplay of energy systems with regulatory, economic, and consumer factors. The program encouraged multidisciplinary and cross-institutional collaboration, curriculum development, and the creation of innovative tools and testbeds.
