Summary: Supports convenings that unite patients, caregivers, and stakeholders to discuss, share, and disseminate patient-centered comparative clinical effectiveness research (CER) methods and results.
Key Information: This award does not fund research studies; only convening, engagement, and dissemination activities are supported.
This funding opportunity supports projects that bring together patients, families, caregivers, and the broader healthcare community for convenings, meetings, or conferences centered on patient-centered comparative clinical effectiveness research (CER). The goal is to promote focused discussion, share engagement methods, disseminate PCORI-funded research results, and plan for future patient-centered CER (excluding the development of funding proposals or grant applications). Convenings should unite participants around a shared focus—such as a geographic region, health condition, or representative group—and explore or communicate CER topics and findings to audiences that can use them. All projects must demonstrate a commitment to collaboration and partnership around patient-centered CER.
