This funding opportunity supports projects that actively disseminate PCORI-funded research findings to targeted audiences, including patients, families, caregivers, clinicians, and the broader healthcare community. The program emphasizes tailored, intentional dissemination strategies that increase awareness, understanding, and use of evidence in healthcare decision making. Projects must focus on spreading awareness and increasing knowledge of PCORI-funded research findings, using approaches that are motivating, accessible, and actionable for the intended audiences. Applicants are required to demonstrate strong organizational relationships with their audiences, develop clear and tailored key messages, include robust evaluation plans, and engage patients and stakeholders as active partners throughout the project. Projects must align with PCORI’s Foundational Expectations for Partnerships in Research.
