Description
This opportunity funds the implementation of a professional exchange program, bringing approximately twelve senior educators and policymakers from the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Brunei to the United States. The focus is on immersive exposure to American practices in artificial intelligence (AI) and educational technology within English language education. Over a two-week exchange in at least two U.S. cities—including attendance at SXSW EDU in March 2027—participants will engage in academic sessions, site visits to leading AI and EdTech firms, and networking with U.S. educators and industry leaders. The program aims to equip participants to implement American-aligned AI and EdTech approaches in their home institutions and ministries, fostering durable networks and regional alignment with U.S. technology and policy standards.
