Description
This opportunity funds the design and implementation of a professional exchange program for approximately twelve high-merit educators and policymakers from the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Brunei. The program aims to deepen participants' understanding of American approaches to artificial intelligence (AI) and educational technology (EdTech) integration in English language instruction. Over a two-week exchange in March 2027 (with a total project period of up to 12 months), participants will engage in academic sessions, site visits to U.S. AI and EdTech companies, and professional networking—including attendance at SXSW EDU in Austin, Texas. Each participant will develop a concrete action plan for AI and EdTech adoption in their home institutions, with follow-up to ensure lasting impact and the institutionalization of American-aligned practices.
