This funding opportunity, part of North Dakota’s Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), is designed to bolster the health and behavioral health service delivery systems for rural and tribal communities across the state. The initiative targets gaps in the continuum of care by supporting technical assistance, training, planning, infrastructure development, equipment, and minor remodeling for providers. Eligible projects include expanding medically managed withdrawal management services, behavioral health crisis response, telehealth infrastructure, pediatric and ventilator beds, obstetric care, and home-based services. The program aims to improve access to high-quality care, enhance care coordination, increase the use of telehealth and remote patient monitoring, and build local provider capacity to better serve vulnerable populations. The overarching goal is to bring high-quality health care closer to home, improve health outcomes, and ensure sustainable, locally driven solutions for North Dakota’s rural and tribal residents.
