--- ## Description This funding opportunity supports projects that either expand the services offered through the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Federation or pilot the onboarding of new services into EOSC Nodes. The goal is to deliver clear benefits to end users, demonstrate the usefulness of the EOSC Federation, and contribute to the further build-up and sustainability of the EOSC ecosystem. Projects should also provide documentation and lessons learned for the EOSC Academy. Alignment with EOSC objectives and effective stakeholder engagement are essential. --- ## Due Dates - Opening date: November 2, 2025 - Application deadline: February 18, 2026, 17:00 (Brussels time) - Project start date: May 6, 2026 - Project duration: 6 months --- ## Funding Amount - Total call budget: €400,000 - Maximum funding per project: €50,000 (lump sum, milestone-based) - Minimum funded projects: 8 - Maximum for a single organisation across all EOSC Gravity calls: €100,000 - Maximum for a single organisation across both Inter-Project Calls: €50,000 --- ## Eligibility ### Eligible Applicants - Research Infrastructures (RIs) - Universities and other research-performing organizations - Institutes and experts from the wider RI landscape - EOSC Federation Candidate Nodes - Organisations wishing to pilot onboarding a service (not required to become a Node) ### Ineligible Entities - EOSC Gravity consortium partners, their affiliates, and employees ### Eligible Countries - EU Member States (including outermost regions) - Overseas Countries and Territories linked to MS - Horizon Europe associated countries as of October 2024 (excluding those only associated to Pillar II): Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Iceland, Israel, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Tunisia, Türkiye, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and potentially Egypt, Morocco, Switzerland (pending agreement status) - Restrictions apply for entities linked to certain Hungarian public interest trusts --- ## Application Process - Applications must be submitted in English via the [ESF online platform](https://esf.smartsimple.ie/s_signup.jsp?token=XVtQC1oGYV5ZSxtZXxJXR1JWYUl1H3Rt) (first-time users) or [here](https://esf.smartsimple.ie/) (returning users). - Required components: - Online form (preliminary info, Node endorsement, PDF upload covering Excellence, Impact, and Implementation) - Written endorsement from at least one Candidate EOSC Node (email confirmation) - Supporting documents and guidelines are available on the [EOSC grants page](https://eosc.eu/eosc-about/calls-grants/). ### Evaluation Process 1.
