This call supports preparatory projects that enable organisations to plan and align potential future EOSC Nodes (national, multi-country, or thematic) with the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Federation’s objectives. The aim is to help applicants develop a comprehensive project charter, laying the groundwork for future applications to become EOSC Nodes. Funded projects must demonstrate alignment with EOSC goals, outline governance and technical readiness, detail community engagement strategies, and support integration with the EOSC Academy by contributing training materials, best practices, and use cases. The grant is structured as a lump-sum, milestone-based award, and selected projects will be required to attend a remote kick-off meeting and deliver specific outputs over a 6-month period.
